Lendiball - Risk and return review

Risk Level
Very High
Higher means more risk. Lendiball holds no licence, every lender on it belongs to its own Virtula group, all current loans go to the group holding, the loans are unsecured and the book is small at about €500,000 (November 2026).
Return Level
Very High
The platform advertises up to 16% a year, and the loans on offer pay 14% to 16% (1 November 2026). Nothing realised is published.
Risk Return Level
Very Bad
Rates of 14% to 16% do not make up for unsecured loans whose only protection is a buyback promise from the same group that controls the platform, with no published loss data.

Lendiball - Returns and loss rates

Returns
Fixed interest: 16.00% The highest return the platform advertises, up to 16% a year, read on 1 November 2026. The three loans on offer paid 14%, 15% and 16% a year. No average or realised return is published.

About Lendiball

What it is

Lendiball is an Estonian-registered P2P marketplace, live since November 2025, where investors buy claims on loans from lenders of the Virtula group in Moldova and Romania. A review quoted on its home page says these lenders are 100% controlled by the same group as the platform. It is very small: the home page shows more than €500,000 of loans purchased, more than €20,000 of interest paid and more than 120 verified users (1 November 2026).

How it works

After registering and verifying your identity you fund your account by bank transfer and buy loan claims yourself, or let Auto Invest do it. Payments arrive monthly according to the loan schedule. On 1 November 2026 the primary market listed three loans, all to Virtula Development Center SRL: €20,000 at 14.00% for about 4 months, €40,000 at 16.00% for about 2 years 10 months and €40,000 at 15.00% for about 1 year 3 months.

Returns

The platform advertises returns of up to 16% a year. The loans on offer pay 14% to 16% a year (1 November 2026). No average or realised return is published; the statistics page shows only charts.

Losses and defaults

No default, late-payment or loss figure is published in text; the statistics page has a 'portfolio statuses' chart without figures. With a book of about half a million euros and less than a year of history, there is little record to judge.

What secures your money

The loans are unsecured. You buy claim rights to loans made by lending companies of the Virtula group, which a review quoted on the platform's home page calls its parent company. On 1 November 2026 all three loans on offer were business loans to the group holding, Virtula Development Center SRL in Romania, of which the Moldovan consumer and buy-now-pay-later lender Victoria Credit OCN SRL is part. The protection the platform names is a buyback obligation: Lendiball says its loan originator, regulated in Moldova, provides one, and its originators page lists a buyback obligation for Victoria Credit. The public pages do not say whether the same buyback covers the current loans to Virtula Development Center, when it is triggered, or whether it covers interest as well as principal. A buyback is not security: it is a promise from the same group, worth only as much as that group's finances. No recoveries are published.

Who runs it and its licence

Lendiball OÜ (registry code 17365591, Kotkapoja tn 2a-10, Tallinn, Estonia) runs the platform. It states that it is not regulated under any financial services licence, and it is not in the European register of crowdfunding providers (October 2026). Its originators hold lending licences in their own countries: Victoria Credit OCN SRL, founded in 2012, holds licence no. 003 from Moldova's National Commission for Financial Markets and is supervised by the National Bank of Moldova since 2022. A third originator, Virtula Finance IFN SA in Romania, is no longer available after its acquisition by Sun Finance Group. Audited accounts of the originators for 2024 and 2025 are linked on the originators page.

Fees

Lendiball charges a service fee on payments you receive, set in a price list that is shown only inside the platform; the public user agreement does not give the amount. The platform says withdrawals carry no hidden fees.

Getting your money out

You can withdraw uninvested cash at any time. Money invested in a loan comes back as the borrower repays, over terms of a few months to almost three years on the current offers. The public pages describe no secondary market. If you end the agreement, your available balance is paid out within 3 to 10 business days.

Our view

Return: Very High - the platform advertises up to 16% a year, with nothing realised published. Risk: Very High (higher means more risk) - Lendiball is unlicensed, every lender on it belongs to its own Virtula group, all current loans go to the group holding, and the book is tiny at about €500,000. Risk-return: Very Low - high rates do not make up for unsecured loans that depend on one group's buyback promise.

Regulation

License / Regulation: No licence - Lendiball OÜ (Estonia, registry code 17365591) states that it is not regulated under any financial services licence, and it is not in the European register of crowdfunding service providers (October 2026). Its originator Victoria Credit OCN SRL holds lending licence no. 003 from Moldova's National Commission for Financial Markets; Virtula Finance IFN SA holds Romanian licence RG-PJR-27-110383. Those licences cover their lending, not the platform. No deposit guarantee or investor compensation scheme applies.

Functionality

Autoinvest: Yes
Deal rating: No
Secondary market: No
Payment provider: Lendiball OÜ itself. Investors' money is held in bank or payment accounts in Lendiball's name, kept apart from its own funds according to the user agreement; the bank is not named. The funds are not deposits and are not covered by any deposit guarantee.

Limitations: Private individuals aged 18 or over and companies, after identity checks. Deposits must come from licensed credit, payment or e-money institutions in the EU or in countries with equivalent anti-money-laundering standards. No list of eligible countries is published.

Useful Information

Is Lendiball regulated?

No. Lendiball states that it is not regulated under any financial services licence. Its originators hold lending licences in Moldova and Romania, which cover their lending, not the platform.

Who holds my money?

Lendiball itself, in bank or payment accounts in its name that the user agreement says are kept apart from its own funds. The bank is not named, and the money is not covered by any deposit guarantee.

What is the minimum investment?

The minimum claim amount is set inside the platform and is not published on the public pages.

What returns, and what losses so far?

The platform advertises up to 16% a year; loans on offer pay 14% to 16% (1 November 2026). It has paid more than €20,000 of interest. No default, late or loss figure is published.

What secures my investment?

Nothing. The loans are unsecured. The platform says its originator provides a buyback obligation, but that is a promise from the same group, and the public pages do not say whether it covers the current loans to Virtula Development Center.

Can I sell early or withdraw?

Uninvested cash can be withdrawn at any time. No secondary market is described, so invested money comes back as loans are repaid.

What fees do I pay?

A service fee is deducted from payments you receive, at a rate set in a price list visible only inside the platform.

What happens if the Virtula group or Lendiball fails?

The platform, the originators and the main borrower all belong to one group, so a problem there could hit every loan and the buyback at the same time. No compensation scheme applies.

Who is behind Lendiball?

The Virtula group, which lends to consumers and businesses in Moldova and Romania. Its Moldovan lender Victoria Credit OCN SRL has operated since 2012 and says it has issued more than €10 million of loans.
