Invesdor – Pros & Cons
About Invesdor
Invesdor is one of Europe's largest crowd-investing platforms, connecting private investors with carefully vetted growth companies and SMEs across the continent. Founded in Helsinki in 2012, the group expanded through mergers with Kapilendo and Finnest in 2022 and Oneplanetcrowd in 2023, and today operates from offices in Berlin, Amsterdam, Helsinki, and Vienna, serving investors in German, Dutch, Finnish, and English.
What you can invest in. Invesdor offers a broad range of private-market opportunities: equity shares in startups and scale-ups, corporate bonds and other debt securities, real estate financing, renewable energy projects, tokenised assets, and selected pre-IPO opportunities. Depending on the campaign, investors receive shares, bonds, or other securities issued directly by the fundraising company. All investments are denominated in euros, and the minimum ticket starts at just €250, making the platform accessible to first-time retail investors.
How the platform operates. Invesdor applies a highly selective screening process — only around 5% of company applications are accepted. Each candidate passes through due diligence covering business model, financials, management, ownership structure, legal documentation, and KYC/AML checks, with the internal Investment Committee making the final listing decision. The platform favours EEA-based companies with understandable business models, ESG/SDG alignment, and typically over €500,000 in turnover (with exceptions for DeepTech and MedTech). Every campaign comes with a Key Investment Information Sheet (KIIS) summarising risks and terms. Investor funds are safeguarded through escrow accounts, with payments processed via regulated providers Buckaroo and secupay AG.
The platform is fully regulated: it is operated by Oneplanetcrowd International B.V., which holds a Crowdfunding Service Provider licence under the EU ECSP Regulation (EU 2020/1503), supervised by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). Any adult resident in Europe with a SEPA bank account can invest, though politically exposed persons and US taxpayers are excluded.
Track record and volumes. Invesdor's results place it firmly among Europe's leading platforms: more than €637 million funded across roughly 1,090 successful campaigns, backed by a community of around 214,000 registered investors spanning more than 30 countries. Roughly one-third of the total volume has been raised as equity and just under two-thirds as debt instruments.

Useful Information
There are no additional costs for debt capital projects with fixed interest rates.
From January 2024, we have introduced minor transaction costs of 1.5% for equity projects.
This decision is the result of careful consideration to ensure that we can continue to offer you a wide range of high-quality investment opportunities for projects of all types and sizes.
The reason for this is the high effort required to review and evaluate equity projects. Our aim is to ensure that every project on our platform can be analysed in detail and extensive stress tests can be performed, in particular to ensure the resilience of growth scenarios in growth companies. The qualitative evaluation of the business model and the management team of the growth companies and the evaluation of the company value are crucial for a later return and are therefore performed carefully.
The transaction costs are automatically added to the total price at the end of the investment process.

We focus on markets in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), Benelux, and Scandinavia, ensuring a wide array of impactful and financially rewarding investments. Our investment opportunities span various industries, all of which align with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) principles.
Equity Investments
Invesdor provides equity investment opportunities in start-ups and scale-ups with a proven track record. We focus on businesses that have demonstrated success and are ready to scale, rather than early-stage companies. By investing in these companies, investors can gain equity stakes in innovative enterprises with high growth potential.
Lending Opportunities
For investors interested in lending, Invesdor provides options to invest in established companies. We focus on medium to large-sized enterprises that have been operational for several years, demonstrating stability and consistent performance. Renewable energy projects are also a significant part of our lending portfolio. By supporting these businesses and renewable energy initiatives, investors can earn regular interest payments while contributing to companies that drive positive impact and adhere to ESG and SDG principles.
