About Lendino
What it is
Lendino is a Danish crowdlending marketplace where private and professional investors lend to Danish companies and homeowners. It has run since 2014 and is supervised by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority. Since 2014 it has arranged DKK 343.1 million in 731 loans from 3,307 lenders, with DKK 106.5 million still outstanding (statistics read 1 November 2026, updated daily).
How it works
You choose loans yourself from DKK 1,000 per loan, or use automatic investing. Each loan is graded by Lendino from A+ to C- and secured by a mortgage on Danish property. Borrowers repay in instalments, and you can sell loan parts to other investors on the secondary market. The site is in Danish.
Returns
Lendino publishes detailed return figures. The weighted average interest rate on all loans since 2014 is 8.16% a year before losses. After losses and defaults, the platform reports a return of 6.90% a year for all loans since 2014, 8.60% for the last five years and 8.90% for the last three (1 November 2026); part of these figures is based on expected future payments. The homepage advertises lending rates of 6% to 12% a year. The average rate on new loans rose from 6.41% to 6.78% in 2020 to 2022 to between 8.35% and 8.75% in 2023 to 2026.
Losses and defaults
DKK 7,445,837 has been written off since 2014, which is 2.17% of all money lent (calculated from the platform's own figures; the platform rounds it to 2%). By number, 66 of 731 loans were written off and 88 ever had a payment more than 90 days late, which is 12.04%. Losses are concentrated in the business loans of 2015 to 2019: 26 of the 100 loans made in 2016 defaulted. Late repayments currently total DKK 584,449, about 0.55% of the money outstanding (calculated, 1 November 2026).
What secures your money
Lendino says all loans are credit-assessed by its own specialists and secured by a mortgage on real property in Denmark. This was not always so: its older business loans from 2016 to 2018 were mostly unsecured, and they caused most of the losses so far (for example 11.3% of the 2017 lending was written off, calculated from the platform's own figures). Since the switch to property-backed loans, the 2022 to 2026 lending shows no write-offs so far, though these loans are young. Each loan has a credit class from A+ to C-, with an expected default and loss rate updated every year. There is no buyback or provision fund; the 'full-subscription guarantee' Lendino offers is a funding promise to borrowers, not protection for investors. No recovery rate is published; in total DKK 7.4 million has been written off since 2014.
Who runs it and its licence
The platform is run by Lendino Ejendomskreditselskab A/S (company number 35654135). The Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanstilsynet) has authorised it as a crowdfunding service provider (no. 40600), a payment service (no. 21184) and a mortgage-credit company (no. 42008). The people behind Lendino and their relatives have invested DKK 80.4 million in its loans since 2014 on the same terms; the company itself has not invested in loans since 2023.
Fees
Buying loans and holding an account are free. Selling a loan part on the secondary market costs 0.75% of the sale amount (DKK 562.50 on a sale of DKK 75,000). Borrowers pay Lendino a repayment fee of at least 1 percentage point of their interest rate, depending on the credit class.
Getting your money out
Free cash can be moved at any time to the Danish bank account linked to your Lendino account. To leave a loan before it ends, you can sell your loan parts on the secondary market for a 0.75% fee, if a buyer is found.
Our view
Return: Medium — the weighted interest rate is 8.16% a year. Risk: Medium (higher means more risk) — 2.17% of all money lent since 2014 has been written off, mostly unsecured loans from 2016 to 2018, and loans are now secured on Danish property. Risk-return: Medium — the platform reports 6.90% a year after losses for all loans since 2014.
