About InSoil

InSoil is a European crowdfunding/financing platform that connects investors with agricultural loans to support farming businesses and the transition to sustainable, regenerative agriculture across several EU countries. Investors can fund secured loans to farmers, often backed by collateral such as land or machinery, with typical loan terms from about 6 to 48 months and target returns often in the low-to-mid teens (e.g., ~12–14 %) annually, but for some projects reaching.

InSoil also offers “green loans” tied to carbon credit generation, aiming to combine financial return with positive environmental impact where returns can reach +25%. The platform provides portfolio statistics, risk ratings, and project details to help investors make informed decisions, but capital and returns are not guaranteed and all investments carry risk, including default and liquidity risk. It operates under European crowdfunding regulations and is regulated by the Bank of Lithuania, offering some governance and transparency standards.

In summary, InSoil targets investors seeking impact-oriented, agricultural debt investments with potentially higher yields and ESG benefits, but it requires careful risk assessment and a tolerance for longer-term illiquidity.
