Important Update: Swaper Terms of Use Changes

Swaper is updating its Terms of Use, effective from July 30, 2025, to improve the onboarding experience and enhance platform security. Key changes include the introduction of a new KYC provider, ShuftiPro, which will automate and streamline user verification. Users will be required to provide additional information, including PEP status, and confirm that no criminal funds are used.

June was a busy month, and here’s a quick roundup of the highlights: In total, 26,4 million EUR was raised across 47,038 new loans, pushing the overall loan volume on the platform to over 913,2 million EUR and 2.36 million loans. SWAPER May, 2025 review

May was another strong month for Swaper! A total of 26 million EUR was funded across 46 247 new loans, bringing the total amount of loans facilitated on the platform to over 866.8 million EUR and 2.32 million loans. We’re also proud to share that we’ve now paid out more than 12.8 million EUR in interest to our users. It’s a steady climb, and we’re grateful to have you along for the journey.

How does Swaper work?

Swaper operates as a so-called peer-to-peer marketplace, meaning you are not providing loans but you invest in already issued loans by some microfinance companies also called loan originators.

Given that all loan originators are offering a buyback guarantee (promise to buy back loan from you in case it becomes overdue) it would be fair to say that investors are basically providing loans to loan originators that are secured with claim rights towards end borrowers.

On Swaper you can invest in loans issued by microfinance companies - Wandoo Finance is a fintech company providing a scope of financial services, such as consumer loans in Spain and Poland and One Leasing is a vehicle leasing provider in the Republic of North Macedonia.
