Companisto project update - Last chance: The DiaMonTech AG round closes earlier – the financing round is oversubscribed!

The DiaMonTech AG financing round is closing earlier than expected due to high demand and oversubscription, with €6.9 million already committed. Among the investors are major names like Samsung, a European family office, and members of the Companisto community. The surge in interest is driven by DiaMonTech's groundbreaking technology for non-invasive blood glucose measurement, protected by over 100 global patents. Supported by prominent backers including Macnica, Unorthodox Ventures, and EIT, the company is preparing for a U.S. market launch in 2026 and has an M&A strategy underway. This marks a final opportunity for investors to join before the round officially closes.

Companisto project update - The new VERD° UNIT from OMCC is here!

OMCC, an innovative startup in Companisto’s portfolio, is redefining urban greenery with its latest creation: the VERD° UNIT. This modular greening system is designed specifically for daycare centers, schools, and compact urban spaces, offering a climate-resilient and playful approach to city landscaping. The first installations are already underway, including at the Wiesenstraße nature kindergarten in Baden-Württemberg. Featuring 20 types of climbing plants—some even edible—each unit transforms spaces into vibrant green zones that serve as shaded retreats, learning environments, and playful areas. Even in winter, the standalone modules offer weather-protected play surfaces. OMCC demonstrates how smart, sustainable, and child-friendly greening can make cities more livable year-round.
